About Wade Owen

I was born and raised in Willmar, Minnesota, and now proudly call Maple Grove home. Living near Fish Lake has given me a deep appreciation for community, connection, and the importance of building a life that feels meaningful both personally and professionally. I graduated from Willmar Senior High and studied Sales & Marketing at Alexandria Technical College. Before real estate, I built my career as a Sales Manager and Chief Revenue Officer for a multi-family and commercial building maintenance company. That experience gave me extensive knowledge of residential and commercial properties, building systems, long-term maintenance, and how to protect the value of a home over time. While I love the strategy, negotiation, and problem-solving side of real estate, what truly drives me—and what sets our business apart—is the opportunity to create meaningful impact through every closing. My wife, Karie, and I believe buying or selling a home should be about more than just a transaction. It should be an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others and create a ripple effect of good throughout the community. That belief is the foundation of our Homes with Heart Initiative. Through this initiative, every home we help buy or sell gives back in a tangible way. With every closing, we donate $1,000 back to the community:  $500 to the National Alliance on Mental Illness Minnesota and $500 to a charity chosen by our client. Mental health advocacy is deeply personal to us. Organizations like NAMI have provided meaningful support during difficult times for ourselves and people we love, which is why this mission is so important to our family. We’re passionate about helping raise awareness, supporting mental health advocacy, sharing resources, and reducing the stigma surrounding mental health conversations. Along with our mission-driven approach, I bring strong expertise in construction, maintenance, negotiation, and client advocacy. I pride myself on listening carefully, communicating clearly, and helping clients make confident decisions while feeling fully supported from start to finish. Outside of real estate, I love traveling, hiking in the mountains, snowmobiling in the winter, and boating in the summer. You’ll also find me at concerts and live music events whenever I can—especially at Red Rocks at least once a year. And on a more everyday level, I enjoy walking our dogs around Fish Lake and appreciating the life and community we’ve built here. Helping You Move Forward While Giving Back.
